What is a Tiki God?
A Tiki God is far more than merely a person who has drunk 36 nice rums over the course of at least nine visits. A Tiki God has shown fortitude, endeavour, strength and personality. They have educated an already discerning palate on the intricacies of sugar cane spirit in all its forms. And they have spent at least nine visits in Trailer H which I figure makes you quite a cool character.
The Following are Tiki Gods at the Notting Hill Rum Club *drum roll please*
Jason Capper
Steve Manktelow
Tiffany Wilkinson
Timothy Cunliffe
Sue Leckie
Marc Robson
Henry Besant
Pedro Cervero
Simon Coppack
Paul Mant
Raul Fofanah
I asked them to give us a few answers to some Questions so you can see what drives a Tiki God...
1. Why did you join the Notting Hill Rum Club?
2. What has been your favourite rum and why?
3. Your favourite way of drinking rum?
4. What rum would you most like to see added to the House Rums?
5. You are stuck on a desert island... what never ending bottle would you want to be washed up with you?
6. if you were going to suggest a motto for the Rum Club, what would it be?

1) I was part of a beer night a couple of months before the Rum Club started and enjoyed it, and love rum a lot more than pretty much anything else after a trip to Cuba a couple of years ago, seemed like a sensible (or stupid – depending on how you look at it) thing to do
2) fav rum at the club would be the venezuelan plantation, or pyrat pistol - Love the first for that rich sweet spicy flavour and the second cause it’s a rum old fashioned in a bottle.
3) fav way of drinking rum is straight if it’s a good one, or daiquiri otherwise
4) Bacardi Solera Reserve (1792?), Angostura 1824 (if its not already)
5)Bacardi Solera Reserve
6) As for a motto, my favourite is ‘if you don’t remember it, it didn’t happen’ which tends to have a lot to do with rum for me funnily enough.
